**Material Handler**
**Job Description**
As a Material Handler, you will primarily be responsible for receiving packages delivered through various carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and Amazon. You will break down and remove pallets, store materials, unpack packages, and appropriately label parts for inventory. You will use carts and perform cycle counts once or twice a week, all while maintaining communication via email and Outlook, and using the ERP system NetSuite. You will support the manufacturing team in a Kanban setting, picking materials according to a pick list, packaging, labeling, and delivering them to the manufacturing team. Additionally, you will handle interdepartmental transfers, ensuring smooth operations with manufacturing and internal partners.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive and process packages from carriers like UPS, FedEx, and Amazon.
+ Break down and store materials from pallets and unpack packages.
+ Label parts appropriately for inventory storage.
+ Perform cycle counts once or twice a week.
+ Communicate effectively over email and Outlook.
+ Utilize the ERP system NetSuite for operations.
+ Support the manufacturing team in a Kanban setting.
+ Pick, package, label, and deliver materials to manufacturing.
+ Handle interdepartmental transfers efficiently.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in shipping and receiving operations.
+ Experience with inventory control and ERP systems.
+ Ability to perform shipping and receiving duties using basic warehouse equipment.
+ Knowledge of dry ice handling and cold room operations.
+ Skill in using pallet jacks and performing cycle counts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Strong numerical and counting skills.
+ Accuracy in data entry within ERP systems.
+ Flexibility to take on new tasks and adapt to changes.
+ Experience with cold chain storage is a plus.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
